Seus pais iniciaram na agricultura plantando batata, milho, feij\u00e3o, mandioca e soja como pequenos produtores. color: black;\">Chegando aqui foi plantado primeiro o arroz, pois n\u00e3o havia informa\u00e7\u00e3o t\u00e9cnica suficiente para saber se era poss\u00edvel plantar soja.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify; color: black;\">O arroz era uma cultura barata, e o soja, o custo era muito alto para arriscar sem ter certeza das condi\u00e7\u00f5es edafoclim\u00e1ticas.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify; color: black;\">O \u00fanico local onde se discutia como fazer agricultura na regi\u00e3o era no escrit\u00f3rio do engenheiro agr\u00f4nomo e produtor Ant\u00f4nio Guadagnin, l\u00e1 os produtores passavam horas no mate e conversavam.<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"margin: 7.5pt 0cm; color: black;\">Paulo foi uns dos primeiros produtores da regi\u00e3o que iniciou o sistema de plantio direto e tamb\u00e9m plantas de cobertura, plantou aveia nos intervalos das culturas. N\u00f3s n\u00e3o sab\u00edamos fazer o cuscuz, t\u00ednhamos p\u00e3o, bolo, mas n\u00e3o era costume deles esses alimentos.
